SLP (the operator) describes below how information is handled in Fretomo and its support pages.
1. Local learning records and settings
The app stores question positions, selected notes, correctness, reaction times, hint use, timeouts, cumulative position results, review targets, practice history, interrupted rounds, local achievements, volume, vibration, selected strings, language, and sharing choices on your device. These support practice, results, review, and settings. Learning records are not sent to an operator server or synced between devices by the app. Answer history and review positions are not passed to the ad SDK.
The app asks you to select note names. It does not record your playing or collect microphone audio.
2. Erasing learning records
In Settings, choose Erase learning records and confirm to erase scores, cumulative position records, review targets, history, local achievements, and pending Game Center submissions. Settings such as volume and language, sharing choices, and Game Center connection remain. Previously submitted Apple achievements or leaderboard scores, if any, are not erased by this action. Consult Apple's settings and guidance to manage Game Center information.
Removing the app may lose local records. OS backup and restoration follow your device and Apple settings.
3. Ads and consent choices
The app uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and Google's User Messaging Platform for consent. Google may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, app interactions, and crash or performance data for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Actual handling depends on device settings, consent, region, and service configuration.
The current app requests non-personalized ads and disables Publisher first-party ID. It does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. These settings do not eliminate all processing by the ad service.
Consent status is checked on launch and when returning to the app. A choice form appears when needed. If permission to request ads cannot be confirmed, practice remains available without ads. Open Settings → Ads & privacy; Ad privacy settings appears when required for your region or consent state, allowing you to review or change your choices.
4. Game Center
The iOS app uses Apple's Game Center. If already signed in on your device, the app may restore that connection on launch. It displays your player name and connection status and checks achievement and leaderboard availability. Local practice and learning records remain available without a connection.
Automatic Game Center sharing is on by default. While connected with automatic sharing on, eligible scores and achievements from newly completed practice runs are sent to Apple. Leaderboard scores require a completed standard 10-question run using all six strings. Answer history is not shared.
Pending results, submission status, and a hash of the Game Center account identifier are stored on your device to prevent retries under a different account. Unsent or partly sent results are retried on reconnection, when returning to the app, and during periodic checks while the app is open. Once a result is assigned to an account, it is retried only while connected to that Game Center account. Results recorded before the update are not automatically submitted in bulk. You can submit an older result from its results screen using “Send or recheck this result”.
Use “Turn automatic sharing off” in Settings or on the results screen to stop future automatic submissions. Pending results remain on your device and are retried when you turn sharing on again. Turning sharing off does not recall information already sent or requests already in progress.
Apple processes player information and game activity when you use Game Center. Shared player names, scores, and other information may be visible to other players. Visibility, retention, and deletion by Apple follow Game Center settings and policies.
5. Support requests
If you email us, we use your email address, name if supplied, request, and any device information or images you choose to send to respond, investigate bugs, and provide support. Messages are processed and stored by the email service used. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information. Contact us below to request deletion of support information.
6. Support website
This site is served on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, access times, and request information for delivery and security. Answers in the illustrative mini quiz only change the browser display; they are not stored or transmitted.
Your chosen website language (Japanese or English) is saved in your browser for later visits. Clearing site data removes this choice. If browser storage is unavailable, page URLs carry your language choice during navigation.
Your analytics choice
On app overview pages, Google Analytics loads only when you allow website analytics. It measures page views and clicks on App Store links. Google processes the app name, page language, link position, and browser and device information. Network requests to Google involve IP address processing, including the derivation of approximate location. Analytics cookies contain random identifiers. SLP does not send in-app answers, learning records, names, email addresses or a User ID to this analytics service. Page URLs sent by this module exclude query strings and fragments.
Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. No advertising tag is added for this website analytics. Analytics cookies are configured as session cookies. Your allow or refuse choice is stored in your browser. If you refuse, Google Analytics does not load, and you can still use the website.
You can change your choice using “Analytics settings” on the overview page. Withdrawing consent reloads the page to stop subsequent analytics and deletes this website's analytics cookies. This does not recall information already sent or requests already in progress. Clearing your browser's site data also removes your saved analytics choice.
For Google's use of information, see Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites and apps.
For visits from the designated Google Ads campaign, analytics also receives a shared campaign name, source (Google), medium (CPC), and campaign ID after you allow analytics. We do not send raw query strings or Google click identifiers. For these visits, App Store buttons use an Apple campaign link with a shared campaign label so Apple can report aggregate acquisition results. This label is not a personal identifier. Other visits use the normal App Store link. Apple campaign reporting follows Apple’s privacy thresholds and policies.
7. Management and retention
SLP applies appropriate access controls to support information, retains it for support, investigation, and other necessary purposes, and deletes it within reasonable bounds when no longer needed. Retention, processing locations, and deletion procedures for information handled by Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and other service providers follow their policies.
8. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when features or services change. Updates are shown on this page with the revision date.
